Accessibility Statement

PremCare Family Medical Center is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including patients who rely on assistive technology.

Our commitment

Accessible care starts online

We believe that access to clear health information and to our practice shouldn't depend on how a visitor browses the web. We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, and to continually improving the experience for all our patients.

Our target conformance standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, a widely recognized set of guidelines for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

What we've done

Measures we've taken

  • Semantic, structured markup

Pages use headings, landmarks, and lists in a logical order so screen readers and other assistive technology can navigate content sensibly.

  • Keyboard navigation

Every interactive element — links, buttons, form fields, and the FAQ accordions — can be reached and operated using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.

  • Color contrast

Text and interface colors are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds, including on our teal and navy sections.

  • Descriptive alt text

Images carry meaningful alternative text describing their content, and purely decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.

  • Reduced-motion support

Visitors who set a reduced-motion preference in their device or browser see this site with animations and transitions turned off, while all content remains fully visible.

Ongoing work

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some pages or third-party content (such as an embedded map or a downloadable PDF form) may not yet be fully accessible. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to review and improve this site as we become aware of issues.
